The speaker for July was Roy Tokunaga from H&R Nurseries in Waimanalo, Hawaii, and spoke on Dendrobiums.

The speaker for the month of August was Mac Rivenbark from Mac’s Orchids in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mac is a well known speaker and grower to many Orchid Society’s along the Gold Coast, Treasurer Coast as will as the Platinum Coast. Mac has also been one of our Annual Show Vendors in past shows.
His presentation was on Phalenopsis. He gave a brief history lesson, followed by a short slide program showing some cool species, and ending with the majority of the lecture on all aspects of orchid culture.
